Federated Trust Governance Framework

The Policy Management Authority (PMA) is the governing body for TSCP’s trust frameworks. Its primary responsibilities include approving Certificate Policies (CPs) and Practice Statements (CPSs), and centrally managing the complex process of cross-certification across all Bridge environments. The PMA ensures consistent, high-assurance standards are applied universally.

TSCP operates under a federated structure that is designed to respect the independence of its participants. This model allows local Trust Framework Instances (TFIs)—whether national or organizational—to maintain sovereignty over their local operations while strictly adhering to common assurance standards set by the PMA. This ensures seamless interoperability while maintaining decentralized control, aligning with common ICAO ACCP and FBCA Certificate Policies.

Our governance model mandates alignment with leading global and national frameworks to guarantee the highest levels of security and auditability.

Aviation Standards: We reference ICAO Doc 10169 (Aviation Common Certificate Policy) and ICAO Doc 10204 (Information Security Manual) for all aviation trust frameworks.

Audit & Assurance: Compliance is verified against WebTrust principles.

Security Management: We adhere to the requirements of ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System).

AI Governance: Our emerging frameworks align with ISO 42001 (AI Management System).
